The website is solely owned and operated by Associated Barber College of San Diego (herein referred to as “ABCSD,” “College,” “We,” and “Us”).  ABCSD collects your IP address, referral data, browser, and platform type.  You do not have to register with ABCSD before we collect this information.  We only collect your Personally Identifiable Information (PII), such as your name, email, or phone number information, that you voluntarily give us via registration, email, or other direct contact from you.  We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

ABCSD will use your information to explain why you contacted us.  We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g., to ship an order.

ABCSD may need to disclose PII when required by law, wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with current judicial proceedings, a criminal investigation, a court order, or a legal process served on our website.  We may also share your PII if we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspect fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of ABCSD website terms of use, or as otherwise required by law

ABCSD takes the rights of children seriously while providing access to its services.  In response to protecting children’s privacy online, Congress enacted the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (“COPPA”), which sets forth rules and procedures governing how websites collect, use, and disclose personal information for children under 13.  By college and COPPA regulations, ABCSD does not:

Knowingly use or share personal information from users under 13 with third parties.

On a rare occasion, it could be possible that we may receive information given to us or related to children under 13 through fraud or deception.  If we detect or are notified of this, we will verify the information and immediately delete it from our servers.
